Can you spray paint doilies




















Spray-painting in one uniform colour looks great too. Before you start, give the fan a good clean and get rid of all dust. Wrap two blades in newspaper, and secure with sticky tape. Give one blade a few coats of your first colour. Let dry. Continue with other two blades 5. Nic backs are one of my favourite things to upcycle with spray paint.

Scour op shops and markets for frames, interesting bottles, nic nacks, plastic toys and lamp bases that would benefit from a spray paint. Dab the paint on gently where the edges of the doily touch the canvas. Let your canvas dry, then gently peel off the doily stencils to see the masterpiece you have created.
