I never had any issues with production unless the system was acting up and then we had to hurry to finish the quota for the day,month etc. Pros good working environment. Cons they were out bid and closed down. I learned patience from this place of work more than anything else. Also, that everyone in management positions don't always have the knowledge to be there or the desire to gain knowledge in order to stay there. The work was slow but very intricate. Management did not understand the work so they leaned on basic coaching of phone calls.

I gained so much knowledge about healthcare and Medicare specifically. Typically, the day began in the early morning, logging onto the phone line and computer systems and answering fast-paced, back to back provider calls.

It was challenging, but also offered great opportunities for advancement within the company. My typical day would start at am and end at , worked toward getting my production and other tasks that was expected of me. I work well with others. Worked as a team. The respect the management team at TrailBlazer, they were fair, honest and great friends. There were time my job was very stressful due to getting behind, maybe having to do someone elses work due to illness.

The best part of my job is the awesome people i worked for, the experience i received concerning Medicare Part B. Pros flex hours, health coverage, casual dress, nice flip flops. Cons software call tpad, required by south carolina, kept time on how long it took you to do job function, would stress me, sometimes it took extra time to do a file. Excellent company. Only left because job became displaced. Typical Day: Managing workload staff.

What I learned: How to motivate staff to achieve required goals. Management: Direct manager was fantastic to work with. Co-workers: Very experienced and professional. Hardest part of job: Demanded long hours frequently. Most enjoyable: Reaching all required expectations. I was responsible for Financial reporting due at the end of each month and at quarter end. I reconciled accounts to ensure the balances in the accounts were correct.

I worked well with management to try to find new and innovated ways to streamline the work. I was a team player. I would have to work with co-workers to correct any errors that may have caused a variance in the accounts. I can not say any part of my job was hard, I go to work each day with a positive attitude and try to complete the task at hand.

The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to reconcile the books and correct any issues as quickly as possible. Pros flex time. Cons i can not think of any cons to the job i was performing. Trailblazers was a fun and very family type enviroment to work and I enjoyed everyday that I worked there. A typical work day consisted of some data entry, mail sorting,shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing mail.

I learned some hands on computer base training. Management was very helpful, supportive and always on top of the job! The best management I've ever experienced! My co-workers treated me like family. To me there wasn't a hard part to the job that I was assigned to. The most enjoyable part of the job was the work weeks and how flexible it was. Great atmosphere that promoted productivity and teamwork.

Reviewed all CMS directives; translated Medicare directives, policies, rules and regulations for implementation and impact to multiple worload areas; communicated with CMS representatives on issues requiring their input and clarification. Most enjoyable part of job: Working with members who shared the same goal of meeting expectations of CMS, TrailBlazer, and providers. Pros great management and fellow employees.
